Money Management Part 1

Most people Don't like to admitt that maybe at one time in their life or another they may have bounced a check? The fee's can stack up fast! Over the years My husband and I have come up with a really great way for this to NEVER happen again! The secret is....When you balance your checkbook register, Instead of deducting $5.10 for a check you wrote, Deduct $6.00 (and) instead of deducting 54.15 for another check you wrote, Deduct $55.00 and so forth......you get the idea! Before you know it, you will have built up a hefty little "Cushion" of cash! "Rounding-Up" is the Key! If you Round-up on a regualar basis from this day forward......You can never Bounce a Check again! If you would like to keep track of your savings in your register, first put minus $9.10 in the middle row, then the next row put minus $10.00 then "your balance" in the last row! As you can see by looking at the figures that I have shown you, You can Clearly see you just saved .90 cents! Like I said, if you get into an everyday "Habit" of doing this, you soon will have a nest egg to fall back on, yet the key is to "pretend" It Does (not) exist! Otherwise you may be tempted to spend it! This is just one of the Money Mgmt secrets that twenty five years of marriage we have learned that works like a lucky charm! I will post more tips in my next post. Untill then......"Happy Rounding-up"!!
